Their artistry is a subtle one; adjusting for different weights, finishes, and textures of sheets; balancing the mix of inks with delicacy and precision; performing small miracles to ensure an even ink saturation and perfect density at the same time. No computer has yet mastered this process. And for that reason, our printing staff holds the key to the ultimate success: fine-tuned artistry.

Orange County Printing’s History Timeline

1986: Print Stop established by Miguel Jacobowitz and Tamim Baiou in Anaheim, a 500 square foot building with two small presses. 1986: Print Stop hired their first employee. 1987: Third Partner, Abdel Zuwawa joined the team. 1987: Print stop moves to Orange and changed its name to Orange County Printing. The building was 9,000 square feet and housed four small 2 color presses. 1992: The first 4 color press, an Akiyama, was purchased 1993: Tarek Korraa joined the team. 2000: Orange County Printing was acquired by Kelmscott Communications. 2002: The Komori 628 was purchased 2003: Orange County Printing converts its production process to computer-to-plate and prints nearly every job with stochastic screening. 2005: Orange County Printing and Kelmscott Communications acquired by Consolidated Graphics 2005: Forté Promotional Products, a division of Orange County Printing, was founded to provide additional services to our growing clientele. 2006: Orange County Printing obtained its first digital press, a Kodak NexPress 2500 The company now has 65 employees and two buildings, 2006: Orange County Printing becomes the first company ever featured in a Consolidated Graphics Annual Report! 2007: Acquired the Komori 640 with perfector
